Your measurements
All calculations run in your browser. The measurements you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers. They appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a result; anyone you share that link with will see those measurements.
If you switch between inches and centimeters, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Advertising
We may show ads to keep the site free. Ads may be served by Google and other third-party vendors, which use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google in Google Ads Settings, and from many third-party vendors at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Affiliate links
Some links to fabric or supply shops may be affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not change our calculations.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply and don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
